New for Summer 2025

Magician Mike Rose has once again created an all new magic program for libraries. “Colorful Magic” is designed to perfectly complement the Summer Reading theme for 2025 “Color Our World." Performing in front of a custom backdrop designed for this new program, Mike presents a magic show that is not like other magic shows. This new show is designed specifically for your library. The show consists of impossible magic tricks and off the wall comedy all themed around color. And the show features lots of audience participation, too. Since this is a magic show for libraries, throughout the show Mike will also be referencing various children’s books and promoting your library in a fun and entertaining manner.

Naturally, libraries get children of all ages, so Mike’s library program is designed to be suitable for audiences of any age. The program is completely self-contained; Mike provides everything needed including sound system, backdrop, table, etc. You just provide the kids!

If you’ve had Mike at your library before, then you know how popular his shows are. If you haven’t, just schedule Mike for your library this summer and your patrons will tell you themselves!

The program is 45 minutes long and the fee is $350.00 (travel fees may apply). However, if you schedule two or more performances the fee drops to only $315.00 each! The programs don’t have to be at the same location, merely coordinated with other libraries to be on the same day. You are encouraged to send out a message to coordinate with other librarians to get the reduced rate.
